Outreach Opportunities in Daniw

Daniw provides opportunities for volunteering and outreach, helping you to find meaning and purpose in life and to serve the people in great need.

Check out the projects below and find out how you can help!

KalfiServ Projects

We organize KalfiServ Volunteer Projects in various communities around the Philippines. Our past community partners include Adiwang Elementary school (Baguio), Brgy. Magaspac (Gerona, Tarlac), Sitio Ladian (Marilog, Davao), and other places such as Palawan, Bicol, Batangas, Laguna, and Nueva Ecija.

These projects aim to promote awareness and experiential knowledge/understanding of high school and university students on the state of the marginalized members of society, inspiring them to give back to the society especially to those who are in need. The projects also help uplift the poor and marginalized communities by giving them hope through service and material help within means.

Upcoming KalfiServ Project: Davao

The Rural Service Project is back in 2023! This year, we will be going to Brgy. Mulig, Toril, Davao City on June 25 until July 1. This is a follow-up to the 2022 Rural Service Project in the same community.

Klub Tala Outreach

Klub Tala is an outreach club that fosters social awareness and responsibility for the underprivileged. It offers specialized classes in English, Math, and Catechism to the nearby communities.

Catechism: In partnership with Our Lady of the Pentecost Parish, we teach Catholic Catechism to young children ages 10-12 every 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 9:00 in the morning.

Tutorials: Our tutorials group is dedicated to teaching and guiding young girls from public elementary schools in their academic work and life in general. Face-to-face (onsite) tutorials are held every 3rd Saturdays at 1:15 to 2:15 in the afternoon.

Catechism turned me into a vessel of hope and inspiration to my fellow youth that they too may grow as faithful members of one Church. Their smiles have always been my greatest reward.

Salted Caramel

4th Saturday of the month

Salted Caramel is an outreach club that promotes social awareness and solidarity with indigents in poor communities.

“Saturday ALTErnatives Done for CARing And MEaningful Living or SALTED CARAMEL is where generosity and gratitude co-exist…where the smallest gifts make for the biggest smiles on people’s faces. It is where a couple hours of one’s time (in a month) could produce an eternal memory.”
